- Transform a vacant 2.3 acre lot (adjacent to the Family Resource Center and sharing a fenceline with Happy Camp Elementary) into a self-sustaining organic fruit, vegetable and flower garden and green space.
- Create a Wheelchair Accessible greenspace, by building nearly a half-mile of concrete ramps and walkways, benches, and raised planting beds with seeding platforms.
- Build a safe area for seniors to walk.
- Rent out a multi-use space, for craft shows, farmer's markets, etc.
- Provide "Adopt-a-pot" and "Adopt-a-plot" private gardening areas, with proceeds going to creating nutritional and educational opportunities for the local Elementary School and Emergency Food Bank (both within 100 yards).
- Grow organic produce for the Senior Meal Program.
- Elementary School class participation in planting and harvesting.
- Surpluses will be canned, juiced, jammed and dried for sale in our open air market.
- Build Two Greenhouses, one commercial and one educational, for acclimatized vegetable and flower starts. Both need to be snow-load compliant and securable.
